BETTING — According to Draft Kings Sportsbook, three Big Ten programs have top 10 odds to win the 2023-24 college football national championship. The Penn State Nittany Lions, who are coming off of an 11-2 Rose Bowl-winning season in 2022, have high expectations this year, including having top 10 best odds to win the 2023-24 national title.

A season ago, Penn State football fans were pleasantly surprised to see Penn State’s poor two-year streak (2020-2021) come to an end. After finishing with a subpar 11-11 record to start the decade, the Nittany Lions turned things around and claimed their fourth 11-win season and top 10 finish since 2016. Additionally, Penn State won its second-ever Rose Bowl game, and its third New Year’s Six bowl since 2017.

Now, turning the page to the 2023 season this fall, the Penn State Nittany Lions look to be back on the right track to making the program’s first College Football Playoff appearance. The Nittany Lions, who will have many rising stars — such as QB Drew Allar — stepping up this year, open the season tied for 10th in Draft Kings‘ best odds to win the 2023-24 national title.
