Last month, the Nittany Lions landed a major commitment from the top-ranked recruit in the state of Pennsylvania. Now, Penn State football commit Quinton Martin appears to already be reaping some of the rewards of being a Nittany Lion, as he has already inked his first NIL deal before suiting up in the Blue and White.

Who is Penn State football commit Quinton Martin?

Quinton Martin was undeniably one of the top Penn State football recruiting targets in the 2024 recruiting class. According to the 247 Sports composite rankings, Martin ranks among the top 35 recruits in the 2024 recruiting class, coming in at No. 34 nationally, No. 3 among athletes, and No. 1 in the state of Pennsylvania. He is the unanimous top-ranked recruit in the state, and his commitment was massive for the Penn State football program as a whole.

Despite being listed as an athlete in the 2024 class, Martin will likely see action in the Blue and White as a running back; the addition of fellow RB Corey Smith, a four-star back from Wisconsin, should add a deadly 1-2 punch out of the backfield, similar to that of Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen.

Martin inks new NIL deal ahead of senior season of high school football

Penn State football commit Quinton Martin is yet to put on the black shoes and basic blues, yet he has already inked his first NIL deal with Ovation for Men, a men’s fragrance company based in Pittsburgh, PA. The partnership was made official in late April, and is likely the first of many new NIL deals for the possible future Penn State football star.

“As Quinton’s first NIL partner, we keenly understand the importance of creating compelling brand stories around Quinton that are authentic to who he is as person, not just an athlete,” Ovation co-founder Shawn Crenshaw told On3. “Quinton is the highest-ranked high school prospect on our roster. He epitomizes excellence, confidence, and determination. We are going to custom curate campaigns that celebrate all of those traits. Quinton will be uplifted in every piece of content that includes his name, image, and likeness.”
