Penn State football came into last week looking to rebound after suffering an emotional first loss of the season. Instead, the Nittany Lions found themselves in a dogfight, needing late-game heroics to avoid an upset from the two-win Indiana Hoosiers. As the calendar flips to November, something appears off with Penn State. But with a road test at Maryland and Michigan coming to Beaver Stadium next week, the Nittany Lions are running out of time to figure it out. What are we looking for out of James Franklin and the Nittany Lions as we head into another game week? We break it all down in this week’s edition of our Penn State football gameday central.

Despite the game-winning touchdown pass from Drew Allar to KeAndre Lambert-Smith, the Nittany Lions are just not living up to expectations on the offensive side of the ball. The gang tries to pinpoint where the blame should fall and what James Franklin, Mike Yurcich, and the Nittany Lions need to do to avoid the upset against Maryland this week.
