The Penn State football team needs a boost in the secondary and it appears they will get one soon. During the Peach Bowl, it was clear that competition is required heading into the 2024 season to make the defensive backs stronger at Penn State. Insert former Georgia DB AJ Harris. Who has just received a crystal ball to land at Penn State.

REPORT: Penn State football favored to land former 5-star, Georgia DB

It was reported yesterday that AJ Harris was on campus visiting the Penn State football team. The former five-star prospect who played both wide receiver and cornerback in high spent one season with the Georgia Bulldogs. Earlier in December, he entered the transfer portal searching for a new home. Now, Lions247 contributor Tyler Calvaruso has placed a crystal ball in favor of Penn State to land AJ Harris from the transfer portal. Harris is currently listed as the No. 7 prospect in the portal and the No. 2 cornerback according to 247sports.

Nittany Lions making moves in the portal

Many Penn State fans were concerned with how little activity there was before the Peach Bowl. The Nittany Lions offered a lot of prospects but only earned a true commitment from kicker Chase Meyer. Now, the Nittany Lions have landed Julian Fleming the former Ohio State wide receiver, are the favorite for AJ Harris, and should be targeting Nolan Rucci over the next few weeks.
