While the 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes may be young right now, James Franklin has still compiled some of the nation’s top-ranked talent into both. This week, Penn State football recruiting received even more great news with the 2025 class as the Nittany Lions are trending in a great direction with massive 6-foot-6 athlete Brady O’Hara.

Penn State football recruiting receives new crystal ball for huge 2025 athlete

Earlier this week, 247 Sports director of recruiting Steve Wiltfong placed a new crystal ball in favor of Penn State football. The Nittany Lions are now projected to land Brady O’Hara, a 6-foot-6, 235-pound athlete out of Pittsburgh, PA. Right now, Penn State’s 2025 class ranks among the top-3 classes in the nation and could be getting even better with the addition of this elite in-state target.

Brady O’Hara is rated as a 247 Sports Composite four-star athlete and is ranked as the No. 306 recruit in the nation, the No. 21 athlete in the class, and the No. 10 recruit in Pennsylvania by the composite. Seeing as O’Hara is one of the nation’s top recruits and has a massive frame heading into his junior season of high school football, Penn State football is not the only major program on the trail; however, the Lions are seeing some great success with in-state recruits, and O’Hara could be one of the next great PA prospects to join Penn State’s next class.

This crystal ball comes just days after Brady O’Hara was in State College on an unofficial visit with Penn State football for the program’s Blue/White spring game last Saturday — it was his third visit with Penn State, which is two more than any other team has gotten thus far. Look for James Franklin and the Lions’ coaching staff to make a push for his commitment in the 2025 class.
