Penn State football recruiting news is starting to really pick up as the Nittany Lions enter arguably the second-most important time of year on the college football calendar. Right now, Penn State is welcoming its first wave of official visitors to campus and is starting to earn all kinds of new insider predictions, such as crystal balls, for a few of the best recruits in the country for the 2024 recruiting class. Today, another prediction was placed in favor of James Franklin’s squad; this time, the Lions earned a crystal ball for Vaboue Toure, a four-star safety out of New Jersey.

Penn State football recruiting earns new crystal ball

This week has been eventful for Penn State football recruiting, and it is showing no signs of stopping any time soon. Today, Penn State earned a new crystal ball prediction for four-star safety Vaboue Toure, an elite New Jersey target for the Nittany Lions in the 2024 recruiting class.

According to the 247 Sports rankings, Vaboue Toure is rated as a four-star composite recruit and is ranked among the nation’s top 25 safeties. He has been pinned as the No. 269 prospect nationally, the No. 25 safety in the 2024 class, and the No. 4 recruit in the state of New Jersey. Penn State football has been doing well with defensive backs so far in the current class, and the addition of Vaboue Toure could further establish the Nittany Lions’ secondary in the years to come.

Vaboue Toure could be another valuble addition to the 2024 recruiting class

Right now, three programs appear to be warming up to Toure: Oklahoma, Penn State, and Kentucky. Still, today’s crystal ball prediction from Brian Dohn, a top 247 insider, appears to make the Nittany Lions a clear-cut favorite heading into the bulk of the official visit season this summer. This is great news for Penn State football and adds even more hype to the Nittany Lions’ 2024 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 7 nationally.
