Kickoff time set for next Penn State football home game

The next time the Penn State football team will run onto the field at Beaver Stadium won’t be until October 28th. That day the Nittany Lions will host Indiana in a Big Ten East showdown. Of course, this weekend is arguably the biggest game of the season against Ohio State. But now, the Big Ten has released the kickoff times for week 9 of conference play. What time will Penn State vs. Indiana kickoff?

Kickoff time set for next Penn State football home game

The Indiana Hoosiers have been in total rebuild mode after the 2020 season. Penn State was able to avenge that 2020 loss twice now and look to handle the Hoosiers once again. For Indiana, seeing Michael Penix Jr. be the Heisman Trophy frontrunner must be challenging. Penix led the Hoosiers for several seasons until he hit the transfer portal and has led a resurgence in Washington.

The Big Ten has announced that Indiana at Penn State on October 28th will kick off at noon EST on CBS. This will be the second week in a row that Penn State has to play at noon. Of course, the Nittany Lions take on Ohio State at noon on Saturday on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff. Indiana has just one win this season, so the Nittany Lions should be a heavy favorite in this matchup.

Drew Allar’s success at home

Penn State QB Drew Allar has been magnificent all season. But especially when he is in Beaver Stadium. During his home starts in 2023, Allar has thrown for 857 yards and 11 touchdown passes. Overall Allar has racked up 1254 passing yards and 12 touchdown passes this season. He looks to continue that hot streak at home against Indiana.
