BREAKING: A Penn State football veteran offensive lineman has entered the transfer portal.

As the Penn State football team turns their focus to Spring Ball and the 2024 season they will be down a veteran offensive lineman. Ibrahim Traore has entered the transfer portal making him the 4th Nittany Lion to make this decision so far. On the flip side, Penn State recently added Nolan Rucci from the transfer portal which will increase their overall depth at the position.

Ibrahim Traore was a three-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. From Brox, NY Traore committed to Penn State over Indiana, Miami, and Buffalo. During his Nittany Lion career, he appeared in one career game which happened during the 2023 season. On Tuesday it was first reported by Pete Nakos of On3 that Ibrahim Traore has officially entered the transfer portal. Listed at 6’5 312 pounds it should not take him long to find a new home after developing under Phil Trautwein over the past few seasons.

The Penn State football team has now lost four players to the portal this offseason. Wide receiver Cristian Driver has committed to Minnesota to continue his career. Punter Alex Bacchetta who made his official commitment to Rice. Dante Cephas has yet to find a home but did recently visit Kansas State. Now, Ibrahim Traore will be the 4th Nittany Lion in the portal.
