The Penn State football coaching staff has been working diligently to land top talent in the 2025 recruiting class. From hosting top talent to visiting other players at their local high schools, the effort has been made to bring in the very best. There is something different about landing a prospect who is from Pennsylvania. The win feels ever larger as the Nittany Lions have successfully kept one of their own at home. James Franklin and Tom Allen have just earned another in-state victory by earning a new commitment from linebacker Alex Tatsch.

BREAKING: Penn State football lands top 3 linebacker in PA

Alex Tatsch is a 2025 four-star linebacker, according to On3. From Latrobe, PA, Tatsch plays his high school football at Greater Latrobe. He is currently listed as the No. 3 linebacker in PA and the No. 9 prospect in the state. Tatsch is one of those rising prospects who will continue to grow in recruiting notoriety throughout the year.

Tatsch has made his official commitment to play for the Penn State football team today. He chose the Nittany Lions over West Virginia, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and Pittsburgh.

Nittany Lions hosted top offensive tackle this weekend

Outside of securing Alex Tatsch this weekend, Penn State once again hosted plenty of 2025 recruiting class talent. One of the major prospects that was on campus was Ziayre Addison.

Addison is a four-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class according to 247sports. Listed a 6-foot-5 270 pounds the Riverview, FL native has several power five offers. Last week Andy Kotelnicki and Phil Trautwein visited Addison and now Addison has returned the favor by coming up to State College.
