The 2025 recruiting class continues to push forward, with signing day less than a year away. Now, that most of the 2024 recruiting class is on campus as early enrollees, James Franklin and his staff can focus on the next cycle. The Penn State football team has searched all over the country for the very best prospects. However, sometimes they don’t have to look very far at all. That’s the case with 2025 recruiting class member linebacker Alex Tatsch who is from Pennsylvania. Tatsch is now predicted to commit to the Nittany Lions, with multiple insiders placing crystal balls for him to land at Penn State.

Alex Tatsch is a 2025 four-star linebacker, according to On3. He is currently unranked on 247sports, but that should change very soon. From Latrobe, PA, Tatsch plays his high school football at Greater Latrobe.

Now, he is predicted to commit to James Franklin and the 2025 recruiting class for Penn State football. He currently holds two crystal balls that favor Penn State. One from Brian Dohn a national recruiting expert at 247sports. Then, another from Lions247 contributor Tyler Calvaruso which was the latest prediction coming on Friday night.

The Nittany Lions currently have one commitment from a linebacker in the 2025 recruiting class. DJ McClary made his commitment to Penn State in September. Now, Alex Tatsch could serve as the second if he decides to come to Penn State.

Defensively, the Nittany Lions hold commitments from CB Omari Gaines and CB Xxavier Thomas as well.
