It’s that time of year when James Franklin and the Penn State football team begin to prepare for the offseason. With two weeks left in the 2023 regular season and early national signing day around the corner, there are many things to consider. One of the more important aspects of any offseason is preparing for the next cycle of recruits. Something that the Nittany Lions have done well this fall. Stacking multiple prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. Now, Penn State has positioned itself to land another prospect Alex Tatsch.

The Nittany Lions just landed the No.1 prospect from Colorado in the 2025 recruiting class Bekkem Kritza on Tuesday night. Now, the Penn State football team finds themselves in a position to land Alex Tatsch.

Alex Tatsch is a 2025 linebacker prospect in the 2025 recruiting class from Latrobe, PA. He is listed as an unrated prospect on 247sports however, he is a four-star linebacker according to Rivals. On Wednesday 247sports National Recruiting analyst Briam Dohn placed a crystal ball for Tatsch to commit to Penn State with a confidence of 6.

This comes after the Nittany Lions recently offered Tatsch on October 29th. The past month has been a whirlwind for the Pennsylvania native. He has picked up offers from Penn State, Duke, Pittsburgh, USC, South Carolina, Maryland, and Stanford within the past three weeks.

But the best in PA, stay in PA as it sounds like Penn State is the favorite to land linebacker Alex Tatsch.
