Deryc Plazz, a 265-pound offensive tackle from Andrew Jackson High School in Florida, is the latest commitment for the Nittany Lions. Penn State football had been competing for Plazz’s commitment for the past few months, making it a significant achievement to secure his commitment so early in June.

As he enters his final season of high school football, Deryc Plazz is currently rated as a three-star prospect. He is ranked as the No. 74 offensive tackle and the No. 109 recruit in the state of Florida, according to 247 Sports.

With this recent commitment, Penn State football and O-line coach Phil Trautwein have now secured five offensive line commitments for the 2024 class.
