Friday Penn State football NIL news: trio of new deals with The State College Football Bank

This morning, three new Penn State football NIL deals were reported, all of which were set up by the top Nittany Lion NIL collective, Success with Honor. Additionally, all three deals were signed with The State College Food Bank, an organization that a number of top Penn State football players have been supporting lately.

The three Nittany Lions who signed with The Food Bank are Golden Israel-Achumba (redshirt junior, offensive line), Tony Rojas (true freshman, linebacker), and Ta’Mere Robinson (true freshman, linebacker). All three have been turning heads throughout the spring and generating significant hype ahead of the 2023 season. Rojas, in particular, has been the topic of discussion in Happy Valley for months after adding 29 pounds of “good weight.”

The dollar amounts of all three deals remain undisclosed at this time and are likely to stay that way, as it is standard procedure when dealing with Success with Honor and Penn State football NIL.

NIL news has been making waves in the world of Penn State football recently, garnering attention on a national and regional level. Head coach James Franklin has voiced his desire for increased support to compete with teams like Michigan and Ohio State on the field and in recruiting. The program has seen a notable surge in signed deals with players, which bodes well for Penn State’s ability to sustain success moving forward.
