The dream for every quarterback is to give back to their offensive line. Typically, in football, the offensive line doesn’t receive the proper credit they deserve based on the hours they put into their craft. Then, when the offensive line does play well the skill positions get the credit for making the big plays. Last season the Penn State football team saw a drastic improvement in play along the offensive line and now likely starting QB for the Nittany Lions Drew Allar has gifted his offensive line thanks to a new NIL deal. But it doesn’t stop there, Allar isn’t the Penn State football player to land a new NIL deal as running back Nick Singleton also has signed a deal as the opportunities continue to pour into State College.

Nothing beats watching a young player begin to grow in more of a leadership role and with this new NIL deal, we are starting to see just that. Drew Allar has gifted the entire Penn State offensive line a new pair of Bose headphones after the sophomore inked a new NIL deal with Bose.

It’s a tradition that many NFL quarterbacks do around the holidays, by gifting their offensive linemen to show how much the quarterback appreciates them. Drew Allar has been able to provide the same level of gratitude thanks to this new deal with Bose. This is also a great morale boost to show the offensive line his appreciation but it gives the offensive line time to appreciate Drew and work harder for him on the field. Offensive line coach Phil Trautwein must see this as a win-win scenario.

Running back Nick Singleton also found a way to make a splash in the NIL market as it was announced on Wednesday night that he has signed with Rhoback. Audrey Snyder who covers Penn State for The Athletic gathered the following quote from Nick Singleton about his new opportunity, “I couldn’t be more excited to join forces with Rhoback as my official apparel sponsor and as a leading face of Rhoback U… I’m eager to unveil our exciting plans for this season within the Penn State community.”

NIL opportunities continue to grow at Penn State

Seeing these deals go through with two national brands and several other NIL deals fall into place this offseason indicates that the Penn State football team is adapting to this space well. Beau Pribula has also struck several NIL deals this summer, all of them for the most part were businesses that were near his hometown of York, PA, but when Pribula showed off the BMW that he will be driving this season it shows the step in the right direction the program has taken to help fund current players with opportunities.
