Penn State's Chop Robinson (44) celebrates with his teammates after recording a tackle for loss in the second half of an NCAA football game against Rutgers Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, in State College, Pa. The Nittany Lions won, 27-6.

The Penn State football team has been taking advantage of the past several weekends. To stack talent in the 2025 recruiting class, the Nittany Lions have recently hosted top prospects. That will not change this weekend as one of the top uncommitted defensive line prospects, Bryce Jenkins, has confirmed he will be visiting State College this weekend.

Bryce Jenkins is a four-star defensive line prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, according to 247Sports. Jenkins is from Washington, DC, and plays his high school football at Friendship Collegiate Academy. He is listed at 6’5 315 pounds which is the size of the defensive tackle that James Franklin, Tom Allen, and Deion Barnes are after in today’s world of college football.

Jenkins is currently ranked as the No. 3 prospect in DC, and he is a top 50 defensive line prospect in the class. He currently holds offers from Alabama, LSU, Miami, Maryland, Penn State, and several other schools. The Penn State football team has its work cut out for them to land this prospect.

Top quarterback prospect visiting the SEC this weekend

If you’ve been following recruiting you might be wondering what are the odds Penn State lands Matt Zollers? He is listed as the No.1 quarterback in Pennsylvania in the 2025 recruiting class who has recently taken his recruitment to the next level. Zollers has earned several Power Five offers over the past few weeks. This weekend he will be visiting the heart of the SEC.

The director of recruiting at 247Sports, Steve Wiltfong, has confirmed that Zollers will have a busy weekend ahead of him. He will visit USF, Florida, and Georgia starting yesterday, January 25th.
