One of the most dynamic prospects in the 2025 recruiting class is Alvin β€œA Train” Henderson. A running back prospect from Alabama who has shown significant interest in Penn State football. However, there has been one issue with Henderson’s desire to potentially commit to the Nittany Lions; according to his recruiting profiles, he has yet to visit Happy Valley. Now, that will change as Henderson has locked in an official visit with the Nittany Lions.

Top 100 2025 prospect locks in official visit with Penn State football

Alvin Henderson is a four-star running back prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. According to 247Sports, he is the No. 8 running back in the country and within the top 100 prospects in the 2025 cycle currently listed at No. 94 overall.

Recently Henderson dropped his list of his final five schools, which included Auburn, Flordia State, Oregon, Miami, and Penn State. Now he has locked in his official visit date with the Penn State football team. Henderson is set to be on campus between May 31st and June 2nd. Can Ja’Juan Seider earn a commitment from the next potential member of the LawnBoyz?

Reviewing the 2025 Penn State running back commits

While Henderson would be a massive addition to the 2025 recruiting class for Penn State, the Nittany Lions are in great shape for their running back room. Penn State has two hard commits in the 2025 cycle, starting with KiAndrea Barker, who is originally from The Woodlands, TX, and will team up with fellow Nittany Lion commit Bekkem Kritza at Miami Central this fall.

Barker is a four-star prospect, while his classmate, Tiqwai Hayes, also holds a four-star ranking. Hayes recently was awarded Mr. PA Football, as well. If the Nittany Lions land Henderson they could have a three-headed monster for the future.
