The Penn State football team continues to attack and recruit some of the top talent around the country. With several official visits coming this summer, the Nittany Lions could position themselves to secure a top 10 2025 recruiting class. Wide receiver has been a position of need long term as players need time to develop and grow within the program. Well, Penn State could have a new wide receiver on the way in Naeshaun Montgomery who has a crystal ball placed in favor of the Nittany Lions.

Penn State projected to land 2025 WR with upcoming official visit

Naeshaun Montgomery is a four-star wide receiver prospect in the 2025 recruiting class according to 247Sports. Montgomery who is originally from Rhode Island is now down in Florida playing at Miami Central. Currently, he is a top-10 wide receiver in Florida, a top-20 prospect in the state, and a top-20 wide receiver in the country.

Now, a crystal ball has been placed on Montgomery in favor of him committing to the Penn State football team. 247Sports Notre Dame Insider Tom Loy placed the crystal ball. Naeshaun Montgomery will return to Happy Valley on June 14th for an official visit, could he lock in his commitment following that visit?

Who is this future Nittany Lion WR?

Regardless of the decision that Montgomery makes the Nittany Lions do have one hard-commit wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class. This is Lyrick Samuel who made his commitment to Penn State on February 19th. The three-star prospect from Brooklyn, New York is severely underrated and will likely increase his ranking this summer and fall.

If the Nittany Lions can secure three wide receivers in this recruiting cycle wide receivers coach Marques Hagans will have plenty of talent to work with in his future.
