The Penn State football team is searching nationwide for the top talent in the 2025 recruiting class. Each of the 50 states is getting scanned for the players that fit the Nittany Lions’ culture. Penn State is preparing to host the top player from Hawaii Aiden Manutai this summer. Showing Nittany Nation that this team is all in on the future.
Penn State football to host No. 1 player in Hawaii from 2025 cycle
Aiden Manutai is a three-star safety prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. He holds that three-star ranking from 247Sports and On3 respectively. Manutai is a native of Kahuku, HI, and is currently rated as the No. 1 player in Hawaii according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
The success that Penn State football has had developing underrated safeties and helping them get to the NFL is not going unnoticed. According to Blair Angulo a National Recruiting Analyst for 247Sports, he reports that Manutai will be on Penn State’s campus on June 7th for an upcoming visit.
Manutai could be the first Penn State safety commit in 2025
While the 2025 recruiting class has been picking up steam. The Nittany Lions are still without a true safety commitment in the 2025 class. They do have two defensive back commitments in Omari Gaines and Xxavier Thomas but are searching for that first true safety commit.
If the Nittany Lions have a strong visit with Manutai they could be landing one of the hardest-hitting safeties in the recruiting cycle. Penn State currently holds the No. 6 recruiting class in 2025.
