Penn State football takes the field for the final time in the 2024 regular season on Saturday afternoon against Maryland. As of Saturday morning, the Nittany Lions were a 25-point home favorite over the visiting Terrapins.
The late November matchup will also serve as the Nittany Lions’ Senior Day. Penn State football will honor 23 veteran players in its Senior Day ceremony. However, 15 Nittany Lions would potentially have additional eligibility beyond 2024.
The Nittany Lions will move forward after suffering significant setbacks on both lines of scrimmage during last week’s win over Minnesota, losing starting right tackle Anthony Donkoh and defensive lineman Alonzo Ford to “long-term” injuries.
