Penn State football concludes the 2024 regular season Saturday afternoon inside Beaver Stadium with a matchup against the Maryland Terrapins. Securing a third consecutive double-digit win regular season with last weekend’s victory over Minnesota, the Nittany Lions are looking for the program’s first 11-win regular season since 2008.
Saturday will also be used to recognize a group of Nittany Lion seniors approaching their final quarters in Beaver Stadium. On Friday evening, Penn State football released the names of 23 players who will be recognized in Saturday’s Senior Day ceremony.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Senior Day is no longer a straightforward celebration for those playing their final home game. Some players who will walk participated in last year’s event; some have additional eligibility if they wish to exercise it.
Players in bold have exhausted their eligibility. Those marked with an asterisk walked in last year’s ceremony.

A Nittany Lions’ win over Maryland would also likely assure that Saturday is not the final game these seniors play in Beaver Stadium either. Sitting at No. 4 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings, Penn State football would seemingly lock up a home first-round playoff game with an 11-1 finish. An Ohio State loss to Michigan would also open the door for a potential trip to the Big Ten Championship.
Senior Day festivities will begin at 3:00 on Saturday, with kickoff set for 3:30.
