What we know after the Nittany Lions’ first win

The Penn State defense under Jim Knowles is legit

For anyone wondering if the Nittany Lions defense would look sluggish in game one under their new coordinator, they sure got their answer early. Penn State forced turnovers on each of the Wolfpack’s first two possessions and held them to 203 yards on the afternoon.

Transfer wide receivers live up to the hype

The passing threats that have long eluded the Blue and White have arrived in Happy Valley. Trebor Pena, Kyron Hudson, and Devonte Ross flashed in their Penn State football debuts, combining for 14 catches for 167 yards and one touchdowns.
