The Penn State football team continues to chase after the top talent in the 2025 recruiting class. James Franklin currently has a top-10 recruiting class in the 2025 cycle and hopes to build on that. A position the Nittany Lions have had no trouble recruiting over the past few classes is at tight end. Now, they have offered one of the most impressive prospects at the position in Brock Schott.

Brock Schott is a four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, according to 247sports. He is currently ranked the No. 2 prospect in Indiana, and he attends Leo High School. He holds 22 offers from schools such as Colorado, Duke, Ohio State, Miami, and now the Penn State football team.

Schott announced his Penn State offer on Tuesday on social media. At 6’3, 215 pounds, he is a dual sport athlete who also plays basketball.

Current 2025 Penn State football TE commits

The Nittany Lions currently have Brady O’Hara, a four-star prospect from North Catholic High School, as the only hard commit at tight end on the roster. Listed at 6’6, 235, there has been speculation that he might play on the offensive line at the next level. If that’s the case, then adding recent offers to Hollis Davidson and Brock Schott makes a lot of sense.
