Before the start of the 2023 season, additional NIL opportunities pile up for two of the Penn State football team’s biggest stars. Both plays have been able to market themselves and sign deals with nationally recognized brands. But, these deals are special when they can use the deal to gift their teammates. Penn State running back Nick Singleton and quarterback Drew Allar will only grow in popularity during this season. This should aid their NIL opportunities even more in the future.

RB Nick Singleton whom the team refers to as “Gatorade” because he won the National Gatorade Player of the Year in High School. The Penn State football social media team shared the moment that Singleton told his teammates about his deal with Beats by Dre. Part of this NIL deal was gifting every teammate a new pair of headphones before the start of the season.

Singleton also recently signed an apparel deal with Rhoback. As his own line of merchandise will drop this fall. It appears that after his phenomenal 2022 season, Nick Singleton is marketing himself well and signing with big brands.

Drew Allar inks a new NIL deal

It doesn’t stop there as Drew Allar has also signed a new NIL deal. Recently, Allar gifted the entire offensive line with Bose headphones after inking his deal with Bose.

Now, Allar has signed with KIWICLO an apparel company that focuses on “telling a story through crafting high-end wearable garments.” His collection for KIWICLO will drop on September 1st. Several other college football players have signed with this brand including J.J. McCarthy and Blake Corum from Michigan.

It’s great to see these players get the most out of their name, image, and likeness. Now, that these deals are in place they can focus on football, but it shows the growth in the NIL space in State College.
