The Penn State football team is on the road today to take on the Maryland Terrapins with kickoff roughly two hours away. The Nittany Lions have struggled on the road this season, but will they have their star talent on the field? Last weekend against Indiana star defensive player Chop Robinson did not play. Then, early in the game, wide receiver Harrison Wallace III went down with an apparent shoulder injury. He returned to the sideline against Indiana in a sling. Now, before kickoff, we have learned the status of both players who appeared on the availability report this afternoon.
Injury Report: Multiple Penn State football stars out vs. Maryland
It was evident last weekend that without Chop Robinson the defensive line did not seem as strong. Robinson went out against Ohio State and not only did Penn State football miss his play on the field against Indiana. They also missed his leadership in the locker room. Robinson was once a Maryland football player and transferred to Penn State before the 2022 season. Of all of the games on the schedule this season, you know this one means more to Chop Robinson. But his status is OUT for today’s game.
On the other side of the ball, the offense has struggled all season long. But Harrison Wallace III was a player whom Drew Allar has shown comfort with. He has missed several games this season and now will miss today’s game against Maryland.
Below is the full injury report for the Penn State football team, before today’s matchup against Maryland.
