Top 2024 Penn State football target has a big announcement later this week

The 2024 recruiting class for the Penn State football team has continued to grow all summer. As the Nittany Lions currently hold the 7th best recruiting class in the 2024 cycle according to 247sports. Now, all eyes turn toward Jaylen Harvey who dropped an interesting message on social media which could lead to a list of his final college choices or even a possible commitment.

Top 2024 Penn State target has a big announcement later this week

Jaylen Harvey is a four-star recruit in the 2024 recruiting class. He is from Gaithersburg, MD, and back in June he released his top five schools which included Tennesee, Flordia, USC, Maryland, and Penn State. Then, on Tuesday afternoon he posted the below tweet which led many wondering, just what news will he drop on Friday.

Jaylen Harvey currently holds three crystal balls to the Penn State football team will a confidence level of six. They were placed by 247sports Lead Expert Brian Dohn, Lions247’s Tyler Calvaruso, and Kentucky Insider Josh Edwards. It’s safe to say Penn State holds steady ground in this battle; however, it will be tough to beat out USC and Maryland so Friday will be a good day to follow the news on Harvey.

What defensive line coach Deion Barnes has done on the recruiting trail has been nothing short of impressive. He is a guy that relates well to student-athletes and has insight into what it’s like to play for Penn State. Landing Liam Andrews and T.A. Cunningham showed the Penn State community that it’s not just local Pennsylvania prospects that Barnes can relate to. He can recruit on the national level as well and landing Jaylen Harvey would continue to solidify that argument.
