Visiting one of your top college choices has to be an enjoyable experience for a college football recruit. But stepping foot on the Penn State football campus and seeing an upcoming 1st round NFL Draft pick makes it even sweeter. That’s where 2025 recruiting class OT prospect Ziyare Addison found himself over the past weekend. While visiting the Nittany Lions he had the opportunity to meet and take a photo with former Penn State OT Olu Fashanu.

Priority 2025 Penn State football target has ‘unbelievable’ visit

Ziyare Addison is a priority prospect in the 2025 recruiting class for the Penn State football team. He is one of the best offensive linemen in the country and the relationship has been a two-way street. Not only have Nittany Lion staff members hosted Addison but Phil Trautwein and Andy Kotelnicki have gone down to Riverview, FL to visit with him.

After this past weekend, Penn State could find itself in a great position with Addison. The four-star offensive tackle prospect according to the On3 Industry Rankings is ramping up for multiple official visits this summer. He will start on May 31st with an official visit to Clemson, on June 7th Oregon, on June 14th a return to Penn State, and on June 21st will be at Florida State.

Addison meeting Olu Fashanu

While Addison just wrapped up an unofficial visit with the Nittany Lions over the past weekend, James Franklin was able to make this rising star know how important he is to the future at Penn State.

It helps when Olu Fashanu happens to be on campus at the same time as Ziyare Addison. The photo in the above tweet shows the two together, being able to meet someone about to see their dreams come true at the end of April, and coming from Penn State is important for any recruit. Fashanu is projected to go in the 1st round of the 2024 NFL Draft which starts on April 25th.
