ICYMI: Penn State football releases measurements for transfers, early enrollees

We got our first look at the newest Nittany Lions as Penn State football released initial measurements for the 2024 recruiting cycle’s early enrollees and transfer portal additions.

With most of the 2024 recruiting class on campus for Penn State football, many players are competing and training for Spring Ball. This leads to jersey numbers being updated for the newest Nittany Lions that arrived in Happy Valley this January as early enrollees or out of the transfer portal. Although these are released now, this does not indicate that these are the final numbers that we will see this fall but it’s what they will start their Penn State football career with in the offseason.

Penn State football releases jersey numbers for incoming freshmen

Many of the top talents have arrived on campus for the 2024 recruiting class. Now, the Penn State football official 2024 Spring roster has provided updated jersey numbers and height and weight listings for the true freshmen on the roster. Below are the updated jersey numbers and attributes for some of the top 2024 talent.

#17 QB Ethan Grunkemeyer – 6’2 200 pounds

#19 WR Josiah Brown – 5’11 165 pounds

#21 S Vaboue Toure – 6’1 200 pounds

#23 DB Antoine Belgrave-Shorter – 6’0 185 pounds

#25 RB Quinton Martin Jr – 6’1 185pounds

#30 LB Kari Jackson – 6’1 220 pounds

#44 DL Jaylen Harvey – 6’2 250 pounds

#50 OL Cooper Cousins – 6’6 320 pounds

#54 DL  Xavier Gilliam – 6’2 280 pounds

#64 OL Eagan Boyer – 6’8 250 pounds

#70 OL Garrett Sexton – 6’6 260 pounds

#85 TE Luke Reynolds – 6’4 220 pounds

#90 DL Liam Andrews – 6’4 260 pounds

#94 DL De’Andre Cook – 6’4 270 pounds

#97 DL T.A Cunningham – 6’5 285 pounds

Key Penn State football transfer portal additions receive jersey numbers

It’s not just the true freshmen. Penn State football also updated its roster to show the numbers that will be worn by several of the Nittany Lions’ key transfer portal additions this offseason.
