Lane Kiffin compliments Drew Allar, Penn State football offense

We are a few weeks away from the 2023 Peach Bowl. When the Penn State football team will travel to Atlanta to take on Ole Miss led by head coach Lane Kiffin. It has been difficult to think about the game on the field when so much has been going on off the field. Coaches hired, coaches, leaving, players visiting and entering the transfer portal. But the Nittany Lions will get their shot at winning another New Year’s Six Bowl game under James Franklin to wrap up the 2023 season.

Lane Kiffin compliments James Franklin

Head coach of Ole Miss, Lane Kiffin is preparing his team for the Peach Bowl. He recently spoke to the media and said great things about James Franklin and the Nittany Lions. Kiffin stated, “This will be a tremendous matchup for us against a great coach, a great team of a lot of really good players. I don’t know the exact stats, but I saw something the other day about how many times Coach [James] Franklin has won 10 or 11 games in just the last eight years or something like that. They’ve been doing this for a while and are at a level we want to get to. This will be a great opportunity for us.”

Kiffin evaluates Drew Allar and Penn State offense

If anyone has an eye for top offensive talent it would be Lane Kiffin. He has focused on scouting the Nittany Lions over the past few weeks. Kiffin had great things to say about Drew Allar and the Nittany Lion offense.

Kiffin said, “…From learning more and watching a really balanced offense, they can really run the ball. The quarterback takes care of the ball. Like Gary [Stokan] mentioned, both teams do a really good job turnover-wise. This will probably be one of those games that you have to play really well in all areas to go down to the wire and make some plays at the end.”
