After a tough road loss to Ohio State, the Penn State football team has fallen in latest the AP Poll.

The Penn State football team entered the Ohio State matchup as the No. 7 team in the country. But after the loss, the expectation for the week 9 AP Poll ranking is that the Nittany Lions will fall. Now, how much will they slide in the rankings is the big question. The way Manny Diaz had the defense prepared will help soften the blow in terms of where they land in the AP Poll this week. It also helps when a team like UNC loses to an unranked Virginia team at home. But the latest rankings have just been released, where did the Nittany Lions end up?

The world of college football continues to evolve as the season moves forward. Penn State suffered their first loss of the season against Ohio State. The Buckeyes entered the matchup as the No. 3 school in the country. But with a win and how impressive Michigan has looked this season, is it possible that one or both teams will jump Georgia this week who sat idle?

Let’s start with Penn State, in the official week 9 AP Poll rankings the Nittany Lions have fallen to No. 10. Ohio State sits at No. 3 as the top of the poll remains the same.

So, who jumped the Penn State football team this week? Texas jumped from No. 8 to No. 7, and Oregon moved from No. 9 to No.8, Alabama moved from No. 11 to No. 9 this week which leaves Penn State at No. 10.  The Nittany Lions will look to regroup against Indiana to try and salvage their season.
