We’ve finally made it to whiteout weekend. As the No. 7 ranked Penn State football team takes on the No. 24 ranked Iowa Hawkeyes. The game is set to kick off at 7:30 PM on CBS. But before we get to kickoff, the availability report is out so we have a good understanding of which players will see the field tonight. Last week Penn State got Daequan Hardy, Coziah Izzard, and Amin Vanover back before the Illinois game. However, the Nittany Lions were without star wide receiver Harrison Wallace III. But more importantly, will he be back tonight?

Of course, the status of Smith Vilbert, Alonzo Ford, and Landon Tengwall have not changed. Vilbert and Ford are out for the season and Tengwall medically retired earlier this season.

Coach Franklin spoke about the status of wide receivers Harrison Wallace III and Omari Evans earlier this week. He alluded that both players will return tonight; however, Penn State is not willing to rush any player back if it puts them at long-term risk. It’s clear that QB Drew Allar is more comfortable when Wallace is on the field, so he is a large piece of what helps get this offense in rhythm.

Tonight’s injury report for Penn State football includes WR Malick Meiga who is OUT. Also, WR Tyler Johson will be out for the Nittany Lions as well. Harrison Wallace III is listed as QUESTIONABLE. If Wallace can return tonight, that would be massive for this team.

It’s important to note WR Omari Evans is not listed on this report, which means he is a full go for the whiteout.
