As the Penn State football team looks to continue to build its 2025 recruiting class, it must stay true to its roots by targeting Pennsylvania-based prospects. Most recently, the Nittany Lions landed in the top ten schools for four-star running back Alvin Henderson, but now the Penn State football team has been mentioned as the favorite to land Brady O’Hara.

Brady O’Hara is a four-star recruit in the 2025 class and he plays his high school football at North Catholic High School located in Pittsburgh, PA. He currently holds offers from Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, UConn, and Penn State. Then, on Thursday afternoon 247sports National Recruiting Analyst Brian Dohn placed a crystal ball on Brady O’Hara with a confidence level of six.

O’Hara also holds a crystal ball to Penn State from Steve Wiltfong who is the Director of Football Recruiting for 247sports. That was placed back on April 17th, 2023. So multiple recruiting experts have faith that the Nittany Lions can seal the deal in this recruiting battle. O’Hara stands at 6’6 235 lbs and he has versatility on the field.

Brady O’Hara plays both sides of the ball

O’Hara is listed as an athlete on 247sports because he plays both tight end and defensive end. It will be interesting if that becomes part of Penn State’s recruiting pitch that they will give him an opportunity at both positions or if he will be able to choose which one he will play at the next level.

Either way, he has shown that he can be successful regardless of where he lines up on the field. He can be a great red zone target or a dominant defensive end. Both positions Penn State has developed well over the years which helps their case to keep O’Hara in his home state.
