Yesterday, three new insider predictions were made in favor of Penn State football recruiting on the first day of official visits for the Nittany Lions. All three predictions came from the Rivals Network, which is a promising early sign for Penn State as we enter the crucial summer recruiting period in the coming weeks.

Penn State football a heavy favorite for four-star Nick Marsh

Earlier this week, 247 Sports made a favorable prediction, placing a crystal ball in favor of Penn State football to secure the commitment of four-star wide receiver Nick Marsh, who is not only a top 100 recruit but also a highly sought-after target from Michigan.

Adding to the positive momentum, a second prediction was made over the weekend through a Rivals FutureCast, further indicating Marsh’s potential commitment to the Nittany Lions. Marsh’s recruitment is significant on a national level, and acquiring his talent would be crucial for bolstering Penn State’s future offense, particularly in the wide receiver position.

Mylachi Williams, defensive end

The second prediction, made on Friday, was regarding 2024 four-star defensive end Mylachi Williams, who is an important in-state recruit being closely monitored by Penn State. The Nittany Lions’ 2024 recruiting class mainly consists of Pennsylvania recruits, and Williams has the potential to be another valuable addition from the Keystone State.

According to the ON3 Rankings, Williams is currently ranked as the No. 205 recruit in the nation, the No. 16 edge rusher in the 2024 class, and the No. 3 recruit in the state of Pennsylvania. These rankings highlight his talent and potential impact as a defensive end for Penn State’s future defense.

Jaylen Harvey, defensive end

The final insider prediction, made on Friday, favored Penn State football recruiting and focused on 2024 four-star defensive end Jaylen Harvey. Currently on his official visit to Penn State, Harvey is considered a highly sought-after prospect for James Franklin and the Nittany Lions. He holds a four-star rating in the industry rankings and is ranked within the top 10 recruits in the state of Maryland.

With a weight of 250 pounds, Harvey possesses the size and skill set that would greatly benefit Penn State’s defensive line. This new prediction regarding Harvey’s recruitment is a significant development for the Nittany Lions — as I mentioned earlier, Harvey is currently on campus for his visit, while both Williams and Marsh are scheduled to visit next weekend.
