2024 Penn State football commit Kari Jackson, a linebacker out of West Bloomfield High School in Michigan, has been a solid committed member of the Nittany Lions’ recruiting class for quite some time now. This weekend, the three-star linebacker commit is set to be back in State College for his official visit, which is a good sign for the Nittany Lions.

2024 Penn State football commit Kari Jackson set to join official visit list this weekend

Kari Jackson is one of the longest-committed players for Penn State football; it has been months since his initial announcement, and despite interest from a number of major outside programs, his commitment to the Nittany Lions has been unwavering thus far.

This weekend will mark the beginning of the official visit season for the Penn State football program, and as such, Jackson will be making yet another return visit to State College. Considering the Nittany Lions will have several of their top recruits in town this weekend, Jackson’s presence could go a long way in securing a few extra commitments for the 2024 class.

Jackson, a 2024 Penn State football commit and a top 70 linebacker in his class, is a recruit that most fans are quite excited about. According to the industry rankings, Kari Jackson is a three-star linebacker commit for the Nittany Lions, ranked as the No. 540 recruit nationally, the No. 62 linebacker in the class, and the No. 11 recruit in the state of Michigan. Penn State secured the commitment of this Michigan native before his home state schools, Michigan State and Michigan, could do so.

If Penn State football wants to land a few major commitments, perhaps even flip top recruits like Chance Robinson, having Kari Jackson in town to help give a convincing pitch will go a long way. If nothing else, the Nittany Lions can continue to strengthen their bond with the three-star commit and ensure that he stays with the team through signing day next year.
