Two schools that Zollers will visit shortly.
Top Penn State football QB target visiting SEC powerhouse this weekend
Matt Zollers is a four-star prospect in the 2025 recruiting class, according to 247sports. He is from Royersford, PA, and currently attends Spring-Ford High School. He is the No. 6 player in PA in 2025 and the No. 1 quarterback in the state.
Now, the director of recruiting at 247sports Steve Wiltfong has confirmed that Zollers will have a busy weekend ahead of him. He will visit USF, Florida, and Georgia starting January 25th.
Additionally, Zollers has picked up 11 new FBS offers in January alone as his brand and reputation continue to grow. The Royersford, PA native will have a tough decision to make regarding his future. It will be up to James Franklin and Andy Kotelnicki to keep Zollers in PA.
Nittany Lions have Bekkem Kritza
One of the forgotten members of the 2025 recruiting class is current QB commit Bekkem Kritza. He is currently ranked as the No. 1 player in Colorado in the 2025 cycle.
Even if Zollers decides to go in another direction, Penn State has one QB in the cycle that they can build around. But at the end of the day, you want to keep the best talent in PA in PA. So, James Franklin will need to work on convincing Matt Zollers why Penn State is the right choice.
