The Penn State football team is beginning to load up on talent in the 2025 recruiting class. A goal for the Nittany Lions every cycle is to keep the best players in Pennsylvania in Pennsylvania to play their college football at Penn State. The Nittany Lions are having a lot of success with that goal in mind most recently landing LB Alex Tatsch on Sunday. Now, new crystal balls have been played on Dayshaun Burnett as he is favored to commit to Penn State.

Dayshaun Burnett is a four-star linebacker from Pittsburgh, PA according to 247sports. He currently is listed as the No. 13 prospect in the state and a top-40 linebacker in the country.

When you use the word versatility on the football field you should mention Dayshaun Burnett. He is truly a do-it-all player on the field. According to his 247sports profile, he threw for 500 yards, rushed for 300 yards, and had 12 catches. He also switched between linebacker and defensive end on the opposite side of the ball.

Now, 3 crystal balls have been placed by Notre Dame insider Tom Loy, Lions247 staff writer Tyler Calvaruso, and national recruiting expert Brian Dohn favoring Penn State football to land Burnett.
