Since Penn State’s Blue/White game last Saturday, the Nittany Lions have seen a series of significant commitments. On Tuesday, Penn State football landed yet another massive 2024 commitment: four-star offensive tackle Donovan Harbour, the No. 1 recruit in Wisconsin. Following Harbour’s commitment, the Nittany Lions’ class is now up to 10 hard commits and ranks among the nation’s elite recruiting classes. Here is where the top-3 major recruiting services rank Penn State’s elite recruiting class.
Penn State football recruiting class ranked as a consensus top 10 class
As of Tuesday evening, Penn State football boasts a top 10 class according to Rivals, On3, and 247 Sports. This is a massive step for the Nittany Lions — who now have ten commits in the class — as they join the Michigan Wolverines and the Ohio State Buckeyes, who also have top 10 classes right now. Needless to say, the Big Ten East is crushing it on the 2024 recruiting trail heading into summer ball.
247 Sports Composite
According to the 247 Sports Composite rankings, the 2024 Penn State football recruiting class ranks No. 6 in the nation and No. 3 in the Big Ten. The Nittany Lions bost six four-star commits and four three-star commits thus far.

As summer approaches, Penn State is still trending with some of the nation’s top recruits and could be landing even more commitments in the near future. Additionally, the Nittany Lions’ 2025 class is also starting to come along and currently ranks in the top-3 according to the 247 Sports Composite.
