The Penn State football team has started strong with the 2025 recruiting cycle. The Nittany Lions currently hold the 5th best 2025 recruiting class according to 247sports. Now, the Penn State coaching staff will turn their attention ahead to adding additional talent specifically by adding more skill positions. As James Franklin is looking to put together back-to-back top-ten recruiting classes in 2024 and 2025, adding a player like Alvin Henderson would undoubtedly help their case.

Penn State football is looking to land another 4-star RB in the 2025 class

The 2025 recruiting class for the Penn State football team currently has KiAndrea Barker who is a four-star running back from The Woodlands, Texas. Now, 2025 four-star running back Alvin “A” Train” Henderson has narrowed his college selection down to his top 10 schools. His list includes Georiga, Arkansas, Miami, Auburn, Florida State, Alabama, Oregon, Tennesse, USC, and Penn State.

A native of Elba, Alabama it will be challenging for the Penn State staff to convince Henderson to play his college football up north. However, Penn State has been following him for a long time as they offered Henderson a scholarship back on November 9th of 2021.

With Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen leading the Nittany Lions during 2022 and 2023, then Quinton Martin and Corey Smith will be another highly recruited duo in the 2024 class. It would be great momentum for the Nittany Lions if they can continue to put together multiple classes with four and five-star running back prospects. By Adding Alvin Henderson Penn State can look to continue that streak in the next cycle.
