If there’s one thing the Penn State football coaching staff has been able to do it’s find hidden talent. Over the past two cycles, the Nittany Lions have extended offers to players who on the surface looked questionable. However, those same players have been able to go from three-star recruits to some of the top prospects in their respective classes. Take Cooper Cousins and Luke Reynolds both Penn State 2024 signees who have been just that. Now, Penn State has offered Losipini Tupou who could be the next quick riser in the 2025 recruiting class.
Penn State football offers 2025 hidden gem from California
Losipini Tupou is a three-star recruit in the 2025 recruiting class according to 247sports. He holds offers from Nebraska, Arizona State, Penn State, and a few other schools. A native of San Fransisco, CA Tupou has picked up four new offers in the past week. Listed at 6’2 275 pounds Phil Trautwein has seen traits in Tupou that make him a potential Nittany Lion.
Cooper Cousins rises to a five-star ranking
For most of his recruiting process, Cooper Cousins has been a midline recruit. But that all changed after he put his pads on at the All-American Bowl and impressed some of the top recruiting experts in the country. Now, in the final On300 for the 2024 recruiting class, Cooper Cousins has earned a fifth star and the No. 27 overall ranking in the cycle.
