Now, he has officially enrolled at Kansas State as Dante Cephas has found a new home.
Former Penn State football WR officially enrolls at Big 12 contender after hitting the transfer portal
It was officially announced by Ryan Wallace of GoPowerCat.com which is Kansas State’s 247sports affiliate that Dante Cephas has enrolled in classes at Kansas State. This comes just a few days after Wallace placed a crystal ball predicting the Wildcats to land Cephas from the transfer portal. During his time as a Nittany Lion Cephas accounted for 22 catches for 246 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Reuniting with a familiar coach
Ahead of the 2023 season, Kansas State hired former Kent State wide receiver coach Matthew Middleton. Many Penn State fans know that Dante Cephas is from Penn Hills, PA so why would he have an interest in Kansas State? It’s about familiar faces. His career started at Kent State where he dominated the MAC competition. If Cephas wants to get back to his peak form he is hoping his old coach can help him get there.
