Penn State football has recently made a noteworthy recruiting move by extending a new offer to Amaury Wiggins, a former class of 2023 offensive lineman. Wiggins currently plays at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas (Juco). This offer marks his sixth Power Five offer, with notable interest from schools such as Miami and LSU. Among these offers, the Hurricanes have been particularly aggressive in their pursuit of securing his commitment.
Penn State football offer extended to former class of 2023 lineman, Juco product from Kansas
Amaury Wiggins has emerged as a highly sought-after Juco offensive line target, attracting significant attention from several top-tier programs. Recently, on Sunday night, Wiggins made an announcement revealing that he has received an offer from Penn State football. This marks the sixth Power Five school to extend an offer to him, with Illinois being the first Big Ten team to do so.
Wiggins has only taken one recruiting visit so far, which was with the Miami Hurricanes. The Hurricanes have shown notable interest in securing the Juco prospect; however, with the entry of the Nittany Lions into his recruitment, the landscape may become more complex for other top teams.
Standing at an impressive 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 310 pounds, Wiggins possesses the versatility to excel as an interior offensive lineman, capable of playing both guard and center at a high level. Considering Phil Trautwein’s recent success in offensive line recruiting, it is conceivable that Amaury Wiggins could become a significant new recruit of interest for the Penn State Nittany Lions.
