June has been a significant month for the NIL landscape of Penn State football. Notably, Penn State’s two largest collectives announced a merger into a new entity, Happy Valley United, earlier this month. But there also appears to be a new player on the scene – Inch & Co Sports. The Pennsylvania-based sports talent firm has recently been growing its list of clients on the Nittany Lion roster. This week, the firm announced partnerships with several fast-rising Penn State football stars, including Abdul Carter, Tony Rojas, and KJ Winston.

This week, Inch & Co Sports announced partnerships with three Penn State football defenders. On Tuesday, the firm announced it had signed sophomore safety KJ Winston. Winston, a former-four-star recruit and standout from April’s Blue-White Game, is poised to be a breakout star for the Nittany Lions on defense this season.

Thursday, the firm added another up-and-coming defender in the form of true freshman linebacker Tony Rojas. One of the most discussed players on the Penn State roster this spring, Rojas has emerged as a serious candidate to burn his redshirt this fall. Most notably, Rojas has impressed the coaching staff by adding almost 30 pounds of mass since arriving on campus in January.

Then on Saturday morning, Inch & Co unveiled arguably its most significant signee to date, sophomore linebacker Abdul Carter. As a true freshman, Carter quickly became a fan favorite for his speed and aggressiveness that harkened back to other great Penn State linebackers like LaVar Arrington or Micah Parsons. Second on the team in tackles last fall, many expect Carter to be one of the most dominant linebackers in all of college football in 2023.

Who is the Inch & Co Sports talent firm?

Inch & Co Sports is a York County-based sports talent firm. The company’s founders, brothers John and Jeff Inch, are credited with starting “one of the fastest growing real estate construction companies in the U.S.” According to the firm’s website, its mission is “Representing our athletes with integrity and originality…Whether it’s giving back to the underprivileged, monetizing their image, or guiding them through a professional decision; building trust through honesty is our goal.”

The Inch & Co network of companies first popped onto the Penn State NIL scene in late 2022. Last December, the company gave several Nittany Lions, including Abdul Carter Teslas via a NIL partnership. Earlier this month, we reported that Inch & Co. Sports – the new sports talent wing of the family of companies – had started to represent quarterback Beau Pribula, cornerback Johnny Dixon, and wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith. Several days later, the firm also agreed to a deal with safety Jaylen Reed. Now representing seven total Nittany Lions, it appears that Inch & Co. Sports could be ready to become a critical component of the NIL landscape at Penn State.
