Penn State wrestling alum Beau Bartlett looks to be starting a new chapter after his Nittany Lion career ended earlier this year.
On Monday, Pat Mineo reported that Bartlett is set to leave the NLWC and join the New York City Regional Training Center. Bartlett has not announced a decision publicly as of Tuesday morning.
Coached by Kendall Cross, the NYCRTC holds longstanding ties to the Columbia wrestling program.
Most recently, Bartlett came up short in his attempt to make the Final X tournament, losing to 2026 Iowa commit Bo Bassett in the first round of May’s US World Team Trials. The former Nittany Lion was defeated in each of the last two NCAA Championships by Ohio State’s Jesse Mendez, this year finishing third.
Bartlett finished his Penn State wrestling career with a 100-20 record. Over the last three seasons, the 141-pounder went 77-7 with three All-America finishes. His best result was a National Runner-up finish in 2024.
