Penn State’s 2024 recruiting class is coming together well thus far, even landing another 247 Sports Composite four-star prospect this morning. Now, the 7th-ranked Penn State football recruiting class is trending for a California wideout Jack Ressler out of Mater Dei High School in California.

Recently, Ressler released his top-5 finalists in his recruitment, and the Penn State Nittany Lions made the cut along with Boise State, Oregon State, Oregon, and Arizona State.

The Nittany Lions’ 2024 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 7 nationally with 11 hard commits thus far, though Penn State football lacks a key component of the class: a wide receiver. Jack Ressler, a composite three-star wideout, could be the first receiver to choose the Blue and White in the 2024 recruiting class.

Jack Ressler is a composite three-star receiver and is ranked as the No. 988 recruit in the nation, the No. 136 wide receiver in the 2024 class, and the No. 82 recruit in the state of California — he is not the highest-ranked wideout on Penn State’s target list, but would make a great addition to the Nittany Lions’ incredible recruiting class.

Ressler has a long list of solid offers, though the Nittany Lions are the only remaining Big Ten program in his recruitment. He has a smaller frame — 5-foot-11, 195 pounds — but his speed and skillset balance everything out when it comes to physical attributes.
