The Penn State football team is working towards finishing the 2025 recruiting class before National Signing Day in December. But before the Nittany Lions can get there, they want to connect with a familiar face. After visiting during the UCLA game Josh Johnson has decomitted from Louisville and is now trending towards Penn State.
Josh Johnson is a three-star cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class. The Ironton (Ohio) native seemed to be a lock to be part of the Nittany Lions 2025 recruiting class. But things changed on a dime when Johnson decided to commit to Jeff Brohm and Louisville on June 14.
But on October 9 he decided to decommit from Louisville. This news came just after he visited Penn State football during the UCLA game this past weekend.

On October 9, the same day that Josh Johnson decided to decommit from Louisville, Brian Dohn of 247Sports placed a crystal ball for Johnson to end up in Happy Valley.
His crystal ball has a confidence level of seven. Johnson ranks as the No. 17 player in Ohio and the No. 41 cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class. While he has not decided on his college home at this time all signs point to the Ohio native to end up a Nittany Lion.
