Penn State football already had one quarterback in its 2026 recruiting class coming into the weekend. The Nittany Lions will come out the other side with two, picking up a commitment from Nazareth (PA) four-star Peyton Falzone on Saturday evening.

Falzone announced his commitment via On3’s Hayes Fawcett. A former Virginia Tech commit, Falzone picked the Nittany Lions over Iowa, Rutgers, Utah, and West Virginia, among others.

“Blessed to be staying home,” he wrote on X.

Falzone was the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference Offensive MVP last fall, completing 146 of 278 passes for 2,135 yards with a 23-4 touchdown-to-interception ratio. A dual threat, he added 697 yards and eight scores on the ground.

The No. 4 prospect in the Keystone State and No. 177 player overall, 247Sports ranks Falzone as the No. 11 quarterback in the 2026 recruiting cycle. On3 ranks the newest Nittany Lion as the No. 13 athlete in the class.

With the commitment, Penn State football now has 10 pledges in 2026. Falzone joins Mission Hills (CA) four-star Troy Huhn as the Nittany Lions’ other passer in the class. The Blue and White have the No. 9 class in the nation, per On3.
