Penn State football has its 2026 class largely assembled as we reach the midway point of the summer. But on Wednesday evening, the Nittany Lions’ upcoming recruiting class decreased by one commitment along the offensive front.
Three-star Timber Creek (NJ) offensive lineman Roseby Lubintus has flipped his commitment to Syracuse, he announced on social media. Lubintus originally picked the Nittany Lions over the Orange in April.
“I realized Syracuse, Coach Fran [Brown], all the coaches there are the best place for me as a person, for football and the best overall,” he told On3.
Lubintus is the No. 41 offensive tackle in 2026, according to 247Sports.
The decommitment now brings Penn State down to 24 commitments for the cycle. James Franklin and Phil Trautwein still have four pledges along the offensive front, most recently landing New Jersey four-star Marlen Bright last weekend.
Penn State now has the No. 15 class in the country for 2026.
