We’re just hours away from kickoff in Indianapolis as Penn State football looks to cap off an improbable run to the Big Ten Championship with an upset over the top-ranked Oregon Ducks.

The toughest test of the season so far, the Nittany Lions hope to have their battle-worn lineup as close to full strength as possible for Saturday night’s matchup. That includes key contributors Harrison Wallace III and Elliot Washington, who both missed last week’s regular-season finale against Maryland.

Both Nittany Lions have been removed from the team’s injury report ahead of Saturday night’s game.

“Good,” James Franklin said Wednesday when asked about the likelihood of Wallace and Washington participating against Oregon. “But as you guys know, I don’t get into a whole lot of that kind of stuff unless it’s a long-term injury.

“But we have confidence that both of those guys will be available to play. I think you saw them both out here contributing today [during practice].”

Washington, who leads the Nittany Lions defense in pass breakups, hasn’t appeared in live-action since exiting November 16’s win over Purdue in the first half. Wallace attempted to work through warmups last weekend before kickoff but ultimately did not play. He leads all Penn State receivers in receptions and yards this fall.

The following other Nittany Lions are included on the conference-mandated availability report released by Penn State football ahead of Saturday night’s title tilt.

OUT:

  • KJ Winston, S
  • Kaden Saunders, WR
  • Cam Wallace, RB
  • Keon Wylie, LB
  • Zuriah Fisher, DE
  • Andrew Rappleyea, TE
  • Anthony Donkoh, RT
  • Alonzo Ford, DT
  • Kaleb Artis, DT

QUESTIONABLE:

  • Dakaari Nelson, LB

Penn State football and Oregon will kick off at 8:17 p.m. inside Lucas Oil Stadium. The 2024 Big Ten Championship Game will be broadcast on CBS.
