Micah Parsons was part of the Penn State football team from 2018-2020. Although he opted out of the 2020 season because of the COVID-19 pandemic, he still made his presence known at Penn State. Parsons exploded onto the scene during the 2019 season he accounted for 109 tackles, 5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles.

The last time we saw Parsons suit up for the Nittany Lions was in the 2019 Cotton Bowl where he was named the defensive MVP in the game. He racked up 14 tackles, 2 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He went on to be the 12th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys where he continues to prove to be one of the best defenders.

Parsons battling adversity with the Cowboys

While it’s great to see Micah Parsons be back in State College his upcoming NFL season could be interesting. Reports suggested at the beginning of April, Parsons was amidst some locker-room controversy with the Cowboys. according to Shan Shariff of 105.3 The Fan in Dallas

“I don’t know how much is true and how much it actually hurts [Parsons’ reputation],” Shariff continued. “I don’t know whether this is the behavior of a typical superstar. I don’t how damaging it is. But all I do know is this – I’ve heard from way too many people that if Micah Parsons was out of there, there would be a decent amount of people inside the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco smiling or breathing a sigh of relief.”
