The Penn State football team had a busy weekend hosting some of the top talent in the 2025 recruiting class. With a few of those visits came crystal balls and even a commitment. With others, it was more of a reminder of the opportunity that awaited them by coming to Penn State. But the Nittany Lions had one of the most dynamic playmakers on campus for his junior day visit in Jeff Exinor Jr. Can the Nittany Lions seal the deal with this future star?

Jeff Exinor Jr. is a four-star athlete, according to 247Sports. From Owen Mills, MD, he plays his high school football at McDonogh School. A school that the Penn State football team has a great working relationship with.

Exinor Jr. is currently listed as the No. 5 player in Maryland and the No. 5 athlete in the 2025 recruiting class. Athlete for this player is used, but it’s clear that he is a natural wide receiver. When watching his film, he has every catch on his highlight reel. Over the shoulder fades, screen passes taken the distance and the tough catches over the middle of the field.

According to his 247Sports timeline, he was on campus for his Junior Day at Penn State this past weekend.

Penn State favored to land another in-state linebacker

Dayshaun Burnett is a four-star linebacker from Pittsburgh, PA, according to 247Sports. He currently is listed as the No. 13 prospect in the state and a top-40 linebacker in the country.

Three crystal balls have been placed by Notre Dame insider Tom Loy, Lions247 staff writer Tyler Calvaruso, and national recruiting expert Brian Dohn, favoring Penn State football to land Burnet, who could be the next addition to the 2025 recruiting class with his commitment date coming on Wednesday.
