We’ve made it back to game day Nittany Nation! As the Penn State football team hits the road to face its second away game of the season. This time it’s at Ryan Field against the Northwestern Wildcats. In a game where the Nittany Lions will need to bring their own juice. Unlike Illinois, this game will likely have fewer fans in attendance. James Franklin turned down the music this week in practice to simulate this environment. But the bigger question is, will Penn State be at full strength for this game? Today’s injury report was just officially released.
Penn State releases injury report ahead of Northwestern matchup
The Penn State football team was the closest it has been to full strength last week against Iowa. They were still without the two players who are out for the season including Smith Vilbert and Alonzo Ford. They also were without Landon Tengwall who was forced to medically retire earlier this season. Last week it was also special teams ace Malick Meiga who was ruled out for the whiteout game, while Harrison Wallace III was questionable. Wallace did play limited reps last week but you could tell he wasn’t himself on the field.
Key Nittany Lion is still questionable
Today’s injury report for the Nittany Lions includes the following players Malick Meiga is OUT, Jameial Lyons is OUT, and Harrison Wallace III is once again listed as QUESTIONABLE.
Kickoff is set for 12 P.M. on Big Ten Network, Basic Blues Nation will have all of the post-game coverage, stay tuned.
